In our June edition:
- We look into how enterprises now have the ability to practically roll out asymmetric mobile and physical access credentials based on PKOC to thousands of users, across multiple locations.
- We explore how visitor management software providers can enhance their platforms by integrating a mobile access credential feature that is already compatible with a portfolio of physical access control systems, and doesn’t rely on reader hardware.
- Learn how app-less visitor passes work for one time visitors that don’t want to download another app to access a building using their phone.

Lets dive in!
How enterprises can now start deploying asymmetric mobile and physical access credentials at scale

Enterprises can now deploy open standard mobile and physical credentials secured with asymmetric cryptography at scale. Previously limited by complex, one-by-one provisioning, public-key access credentials are now scalable via the Public Key Open Credential (PKOC) mass enrollment service for enterprises. This advancement allows organizations to improve security, streamline administration, and support both mobile and physical credentials without reissuing access when systems change, marking a major step forward in enterprise access credentialing.
How visitor management software providers can add instant value to their mobile app with this mobile access feature

Visitor management software providers are always looking for that extra competitive edge they can offer to create the best visitor experience. Many have explored adding a mobile access feature however have been put off by the development resource that’s required to build separate physical access control system (PACS) integrations from scratch.
However, what if there was a single software integration that provided a mobile credential feature in the same mobile app used for pre-registration and check-in, that already works with a portfolio of PACS systems. VMS platforms can now differentiate themselves with a mobile credential feature that’s interoperable with multiple disparate systems, without any hardware complexities. A short guide to app-less visitor passes

Visitors no longer need to download another mobile app just to gain temporary access to a building. With Sentry Interactive app-less digital visitor passes, guests receive a secure access link directly via email, allowing them to use a web-based QR code scanner to unlock authorised doors using time-limited permissions. The result is a faster, simpler, and more seamless visitor experience without the hassle of physical passes or app installations.
