Unifying mobile access with PropTech to help CRE operators hit ESG targets

As ESG targets become more important to meet, CRE operators are pushing their smart building platforms to do more, and PropTech providers are racing to keep pace with features that deliver sharper, more reliable data. PKOC: Securing your building in the age of credential attacks

The physical security landscape has shifted, and the same techniques used to steal modern vehicles now apply just as easily to outdated building credentials. Static-code proximity cards and weak symmetric mobile credentials leave organizations vulnerable to credential cloning and replay attacks. Public Key Open Credential (PKOC) avoids these risks entirely, an open-standard, asymmetric encrypted approach to credential authentication that keeps private keys locked to the credential holder’s device secure element, stripping away the weaknesses attackers depend on that are associated with shared keys. Until now, there was no practical way for enterprises to roll out PKOC at scale, but a new software integration with enterprise access control systems now enables remote deployment of thousands of PKOC credentials at once.
Powering down the reader: Securing fragmented energy and utility infrastructure with readerless mobile access

The energy and utilities sector faces a unique access security challenge, disparate legacy access control infrastructure decentralized and spread across environments such as remote substations, water treatment plants, and solar fields, leading to physical and cyber threats.
